Prakash Patel joined CellCentric in May 2026 as Director, Regulatory Affairs.
Prakash brings more than 15 years of regulatory affairs experience leading global regulatory strategy, submission execution, health authority interactions, and major regulatory filings across oncology and other therapeutic areas. His experience spans early development through lifecycle management and includes cross-functional leadership, regulatory operations, regulatory risk assessment, and extensive experience leading numerous IND, CTA, NDA, BLA, and MAA submissions. He also brings strong expertise in regulatory systems implementation and process development to support operational efficiency, compliance, and organizational readiness.
Prior to joining the team, Prakash served as Director, Global Regulatory Affairs at iTeos Therapeutics, where he led regulatory strategy and execution for oncology programs, including the preparation of numerous INDs and global CTAs, including under the EU CTR process, across early- through late-stage clinical development. He also managed health authority interactions and helped strengthen the regulatory function through infrastructure build-out, including regulatory system implementation and advancement of regulatory intelligence processes.
Prakash holds a Master of Science in Regulatory Affairs from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Outside of work, Prakash is passionate about teaching and serves as an adjunct professor for graduate-level regulatory affairs courses. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, riding his Royal Enfield motorcycle, playing cricket, performing Indian classical music on the tabla, and spending quality time with his two boys, especially while playing basketball and soccer together.
