Lara joined CellCentric in June 2026.

Lara brings nearly 25 years of corporate legal and operational experience across the biopharmaceutical and technology industries. Over the course of her career, she has built and led legal functions across four public biotechnology companies, advising boards and executive teams on capital markets transactions, SEC compliance, corporate governance and executive compensation matters, and has overseen broader operational responsibilities.

Prior to joining CellCentric, Lara served as the Chief Legal Officer, Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary at Bicara Therapeutics, where she was a member of the executive team and built the company’s legal and compliance functions through the company’s initial public offering and subsequent public company lifecycle.  Earlier in her career, Lara held senior legal roles at Astria Therapeutics and Verastem Oncology.  She has also held a variety of legal in-house positions in both public and private technology companies.

Lara received a Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.
