William (Kevin) Kelly

Professor, Medical Oncology and Urology, Sidney Kimmel Medical College at TJU

Dr. Kelly is a professor of Medical Oncology and Urology at the Thomas Jefferson University and is an internationally respected clinical research leader in genitourinary oncology and early drug development.

He has had major leadership positions in National Clinical Trials Network; served as a permanent member of the oncology drug advisory committee for the FDA and currently serves as the medical oncology Chair for the NCI Genitourinary Steering Committee.  He currently serves as the Director of Solid Tumor Oncology at Thomas Jefferson University and the Associate Director of Clinical Research at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center.  He has an expertise in drug and biomarker development in prostate and bladder cancer and has been instrumental in defining the use of many novel therapies and biomarkers in patients with prostate and bladder cancer for all stages of this disease.  He has over 25 years of extramural funding form the NCI, PCF, DOD and other organization and has published over 250 original manuscripts, chapters and books.
