Karthik Ramasamy

Associate Professor of Hematology, University of Oxford

Karthik Ramasamy is an Associate Professor of Hematology at the University of Oxford and a Consultant Hematologist at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. With over 125 published papers, he is a leading expert in myeloma research, contributing extensively through textbooks and book chapters.

He began his medical training at the University of Nottingham and pursued hematology registrar training at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Karthik completed his PhD at King’s College London, focusing on the bone marrow microenvironment in myeloma.

An active member of the medical community, Karthik serves on the executive committee of the UK Myeloma Forum and is a board member of Myeloma UK. He is the Chief Investigator for several UK multi-centre myeloma trials and the Cancer Specialty Lead for the NIHR Thames Valley and South Midlands Clinical Research Network.
