Irene joined CellCentric in August 2026.

Irene is a strategic hematology/oncology medical affairs leader with over a decade of experience in clinical practice, academia, and pharmaceutical industry. She brings deep expertise in field medical strategy, evidence generation, clinical trial execution, and key stakeholder collaboration across community and academic cancer centers.

Prior to joining CellCentric, Irene was a Senior Medical Science Liaison at GSK, where she partnered cross-functionally to advance enterprise priorities across multiple myeloma, myelofibrosis, and rare tumors, translating complex scientific data into actionable strategy for external engagement, clinical trial delivery, launch readiness, and lifecycle management. She has led and influenced high-priority initiatives including priority trial start-up support, investigator-sponsored study development, national allied health professional advisory boards, congress strategy, and cross-functional field readiness. Irene’s strategic approach is grounded in extensive clinical practice where she supported complex oncology care delivery, clinical research, institution education, and patient safety initiatives.

Irene is a Board-Certified Oncology Pharmacist, who earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from University of California, San Francisco School of Pharmacy. She completed her PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency and PGY-2 oncology specialty pharmacy residency at the Medical University of South Carolina.
