Cate joined CellCentric in September 2026

Cate brings extensive global clinical operations leadership experience to Cell Centric having spent over two decades in drug development across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries with experience across Phase 1–4 trial execution in oncology, rare diseases, neuroscience, and cardiovascular medicine. She has held senior leadership roles spanning clinical operations, people and resource management, and organisational strategy, and has contributed to successful FDA/EMA filings and the delivery of complex, cross-functional global programs. Cate is passionate about leadership, coaching, and developing talent.

Most recently she was Executive Director, Head of European Clinical Operations and Data Analytics at BioMarin Ltd. Earlier in her career she held a series of senior management roles at Amgen, including Global Program Operations Manager and Head of People and Resource Management, building and leading high-performing global teams and driving major organisational redesign and strategic planning initiatives.

Cate holds a BA (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Biochemical Pharmacology from the University of Southampton.
