Tanya has 21 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, representing DMPK and Clinical Pharmacology at drug project level, working across the pharmaceutical process from early discovery to post marketing requirements.
Tanya gained her PhD in the Pharmacology and Therapeutics Dept at Sheffield University with Prof. Geoff Tucker and Dr Martin Lennard. Her career began in the pharmaceutical industry working in the DMPK department at SmithKline Beecham which latterly merged with Glaxo Wellcome to become GlaxoSmithKline at a time when DMPK was split to support Discovery and Development DMPK as separate disciplines. Since then, Tanya has moved between discovery DMPK at GSK where she was a project representative on several Neuroscience and CVGI projects to Development DMPK at AstraZeneca where she led the in vitro DMPK team. Her career progressed at Astrazeneca, leading the transporter group in discovery DMPK and representing discovery DMPK at project level to representing several early and late development projects across the DMPK and Clinical pharmacology discipline.
Tanya set up Coleman Scientific Services Ltd as a Clinical Pharmacology and DMPK consultancy in 2012. Since this time, she has providing support for the discovery and development DMPK and Clinical Pharmacology needs of oncology products across the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industry.
